BedRug Colorado & Canyon Bed Liner for 2015-2020 Models
Our BedRug bed liner is precision-engineered for 2015-2020 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks with 5-foot and 6-foot beds. Unlike drop-in plastic liners that scratch paint and shift around, BedRug installs directly over your factory bed using industrial-strength hook-and-loop fasteners that bond to the metal surface.
We built this liner with 3/4-inch closed-cell foam backing and a durable polypropylene top surface that cushions cargo, resists stains, and won’t fade in direct sunlight. Whether you’re hauling construction materials, camping gear, or mountain bikes, our bed liner delivers superior traction to keep everything secure without tie-down drama.

Installation process for your Colorado or Canyon

We designed this bed liner for tool-free installation in about 20 minutes. Start by cleaning your truck bed thoroughly with soap and water, then let it dry completely. Peel the adhesive backing from the hook-and-loop strips and press them firmly into the bed channels.
Next, position the BedRug floor mat starting at the bulkhead and smooth it toward the tailgate, pressing down to engage the fasteners. The side rail protectors wrap over your bed rails and secure with the same hook-and-loop system. Finally, attach the tailgate mat by aligning it with your tailgate panel and pressing it into place.
Material construction and durability

Foam Core Protection
Our 3/4-inch closed-cell foam backing absorbs the shock from dropped tools, sliding lumber, and heavy equipment. This foam layer creates a permanent cushion between your cargo and the factory bed, preventing dents and scratches that drop-in liners cause when they shift.
Polypropylene Top Surface
The 100% polypropylene fibers resist gasoline, oil, battery acid, and most chemicals you’ll encounter on job sites or trails. Unlike rubber mats that crack in freezing temperatures, our polypropylene maintains flexibility from -40°F to 180°F. The UV-stabilized fibers won’t fade even after years of sun exposure in high-altitude Colorado conditions.
Bed size compatibility and trim options

This BedRug liner fits both the 5-foot short bed and 6-foot long bed configurations available on 2015-2020 Colorado and Canyon models. When you order, select your bed length from the dropdown menu so we ship the correct mat dimensions.
Our liner works with all trim levels including WT, LT, Z71, ZR2, and Denali. If you have a spray-in bed liner already installed, the hook-and-loop system still adheres properly to the textured surface. Factory bedliner or bare metal both work perfectly.

What people are saying

Common questions about BedRug Colorado & Canyon bed liners
Yes, our BedRug bed liner is designed to fit both Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon trucks from the 2015-2020 model years. These trucks share the same bed dimensions and mounting points, so one liner works for both brands. When ordering, just select your bed length (5-foot or 6-foot) to get the correct mat size for your specific truck configuration.
Most customers complete the installation in about 20 minutes with no special tools required. The process involves cleaning your truck bed, applying the adhesive hook-and-loop strips to the bed channels, then pressing the BedRug mats into place. Our kit includes step-by-step instructions, and we have a detailed installation video available on our website that shows the entire process from start to finish.
Yes, our BedRug liner works with most tonneau covers and bed rack systems. The side rail protectors are thin enough to fit under clamp-style tonneau covers, and the main mat sits flat so stake pocket accessories mount normally. If you have a specific accessory brand, check our fit guide or contact our team to verify compatibility with your exact setup before ordering.
No, BedRug actually protects your factory paint instead of damaging it. Unlike drop-in plastic liners that trap moisture and rub against paint, our hook-and-loop fastening system bonds securely without movement. The closed-cell foam backing prevents scratches and dents, and you can remove the liner anytime without leaving residue or damage to the bed surface underneath.
Simply remove the floor mat and tailgate sections, then rinse them with a garden hose or wash them in a commercial washing machine. For weekly maintenance, vacuum loose dirt like you would regular floor mats. Stubborn stains lift out with mild degreaser and a brush. The polypropylene material dries quickly, usually within an hour, so you can reinstall the mats the same day.
Yes, the hook-and-loop fastening system adheres well to spray-in bed liner surfaces. The textured surface of most spray-in liners actually provides excellent grip for our adhesive strips. You can install BedRug over factory spray-in liners or aftermarket coatings without any issues. This gives you the added benefit of foam cushioning and non-slip traction on top of your existing liner protection.
We back every BedRug bed liner with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own your truck. If you experience any manufacturing defects or premature wear under normal use, we’ll replace the affected components at no charge. Warranty registration is automatic when you purchase, so there’s no paperwork to submit. Normal wear from daily use and damage from misuse or accidents are not covered.
